CGPA Calculators for Universities in Cambridge

There are 2 institutions in Cambridge, Massachusetts with a published semester grading scale, and every calculator below is wired to the scale of the institution it belongs to. All 2 are private. The oldest of them, MIT, dates to 1861. Grading bands are not shared across Cambridge campuses, 81% can be an A- at one and a B+ at another, so open your own university's page rather than a generic 4.0 calculator.

Every Cambridge grading scale below is transcribed from that institution's own published regulations, and the source is linked on its page. If a scale has changed, tell us and we will correct it.

How CGPA works in Cambridge

The arithmetic is the same everywhere in Pakistan: multiply each course’s grade point by its credit hours, add those products up, and divide by the total credit hours attempted. That gives a semester GPA; the CGPA repeats the same sum across every semester you have completed rather than averaging the SGPAs, which is why a heavy semester moves your CGPA more than a light one.

What changes between Cambridge campuses is the marks-to-grade-point table feeding that formula, and even the ceiling differs: the institutions here grade out of 4.0 and 5.0. Each university page below prints its own table so you are never guessing.
