Fitness & Health Calculators

BMI, calorie, body composition and pregnancy calculators, in metric or imperial units.

About these calculators

The fitness and health calculators estimate common body and training numbers from a few measurements: BMI, body fat percentage, daily calorie needs, heart rate zones, kidney function, pregnancy dates and similar figures. Most accept metric or imperial units, and each page names the formula behind the result and shows how it works, since several of these measures have more than one accepted method.

Where several methods exist, such as the BMR formulas or the GFR equations, the calculator lets you choose one and names it, because a single number can look more certain than it is. These are population-based estimates, not measurements of your own body, and none of them is a diagnosis or a treatment recommendation. For any health decision, a qualified clinician who knows your history should make the call.

Frequently asked questions

Are the results medical advice?

No. They are estimates from standard formulas. Talk to a doctor or dietitian before changing your diet, training or treatment.

Why do two calculators give different results for the same person?

Different formulas weight height, weight, age and body composition differently. Pick one method and use it consistently when you track progress over time.

Can I use metric or imperial units?

Most of these calculators accept both. Switch the unit beside the field and the result is converted for you.
